The Auto-Shutter closes it for you. This hinged, lightweight aluminum door mounts to the attic floor beside the opening and rides on rollers attached to the lift platform. As the platform goes down, the door lowers with it and comes to rest over the opening. As the platform comes back up, it lifts the door out of the way. No extra motors, switches, or wiring are involved.

→ Manufacturer Requirement: If your Versa Lift is installed in the living space of a home, in a closet, or in a walk-in attic accessible to children, BPG requires the Auto-Shutter.
