Returns

Effective Date: February 6, 2026. This policy applies to orders placed on or after this date. By placing an order, customers acknowledge and agree to the terms of this policy. Orders placed before the effective date are governed by the return policy in effect at the time of purchase.

General Return Policy

Return eligibility varies by product. Most items may be eligible for return or store credit within 30 days of purchase if they are unused and in original condition. All returns require prior approval and are not guaranteed. Shipping costs are non-refundable, and some products are subject to restocking fees or different return windows as outlined on the applicable product page.

Ace Garage Storage offers product-specific return terms. Return eligibility, timeframes, fees, and conditions vary by product. Always refer to the applicable product page for the return terms that apply to your purchase.

The following general conditions apply to all returns, including buyer’s remorse.

General Return Conditions

  • All returns require prior approval from Ace Garage Storage.
  • To request return approval, please email returns@acegaragestorage.com.
  • Returned items must be unused, in new condition, and in the original packaging with all components included.
  • Approved returns must be shipped within 7 days of receiving return approval, or the return request will be canceled.
  • All returned items are subject to inspection and approval before a refund or credit is issued.
  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Ace Garage Storage does not provide return shipping labels. In some cases, a return shipping label or pickup may be provided by the manufacturer, and if so, the details will be communicated to the customer. Any such arrangements are subject to the terms outlined on the applicable product page.
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Once a return is approved and accepted, the refund will be issued automatically to the original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email when the credit has been processed. Posting time depends on your payment provider and may take additional business days.
  • In some cases, returns may be approved for store credit rather than a refund, depending on the product and circumstances.
  • Any applicable restocking fees and shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Product-Specific Return Exceptions

The following return terms apply to specific products and supersede the general return policy where applicable. Always refer to the product page for complete details.

  • Auxx Lift – Auxx Lift products may be returned within 60 days, subject to a 25% restocking fee. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable. To be eligible for return, Auxx Lift items must be unopened, unused, undamaged, unaltered, and in original, new condition.
  • Ceiling SAM – Ceiling SAM products that are in new, unopened condition may be returned within 14 days, less shipping charges and a 10% restocking fee.
  • Duramax – Duramax products may be eligible for return within 30 days of purchase if they are unused, unassembled, complete, and returned in original packaging with all hardware and documentation. Duramax returns require prior approval and are not guaranteed. Approved Duramax returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee plus round-trip shipping costs. Duramax products that have been assembled, damaged, exposed to weather, or returned incomplete are not eligible for return.
  • SmarterHome / Garage Smart – SmarterHome / Garage Smart products that are unopened, unused, undamaged, and unaltered may be returned within 30 days, less shipping charges. From 31–90 days from the date of purchase, unopened and unused SmarterHome / Garage Smart units may be returned less a 15% restocking fee plus shipping charges. SmarterHome reserves the right to remedy minor defects through replacement parts rather than issuing a refund or exchange.
  • Mesa Safe – Mesa Safe products that are in new condition may be returned within 30 days, less round-trip shipping charges.
  • StoreWall – StoreWall products that are in new condition are eligible for store credit only, less a 15% restocking fee and shipping charges.
  • Top Shelf Storage – Top Shelf Storage products that are in new condition and in original sealed packaging may be returned within 30 days, less shipping charges.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom or made-to-order products
  • Sale, clearance, or bundled items
  • Gift cards
  • Personalized items
  • Items that have been assembled
  • Items marked “Non-Returnable” on the product page

Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.

If your item arrives damaged, notify us right away by emailing returns@acegaragestorage.com, and do one of the following:

  1. Refuse delivery and clearly note the damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL), then return the paperwork to the carrier, or
  2. Accept delivery, clearly note the damage on the BOL, and email clear photos of the damage.

Damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery, unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page.

Once delivery has occurred, the customer is responsible for the product until a return or replacement is approved.

Based on the information provided, the appropriate resolution may include replacement parts, replacement product, or a refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

Ace Garage Storage reserves the right to update or modify this return policy at any time.
